High Desert Pin

The beauty of this piece is truly in the details.   Three century plants and a barrel cactus bloom against a backdrop of outlined mountains and a moon of rich Sleeping Beauty turquoise.  Every leaf on each century plant (or yuccas as they are sometimes called) was individually formed.  The base is textured to give the effect of sand and includes a desert tortoise and a coiled rattlesnake.  All on one little sterling silver pin.  Whew!  That's a lot of detail!   2 1/4" w x 1 1/2" h  .00
